Like Mr. Rogers said, I look to the helpers, when awful things are happening in the world that it feels like we have no control over. One such helper is @wckitchen. Wherever it's desperately needed, they cook and deliver food -- a basic human right, our sustenance which comes from and connects us to the Earth. They serve people with bravery, dignity and kindness. And they have been bringing me hope and inspiration lately, so to focus on Things We Can Actually Do About Sh*t, I’m running a fundraiser to support their efforts.

💕 When you donate, I’ll send you downloadable phone wallpaper I drew with olive branches — art to remind that you’re contributing to a future peaceful, flourishing green Earth, even as just one individual on this giant planet. There are more than 19 patterns for you to download whichever you love for free!

🧵 I’m also donating proceeds from the sale of my Peaceful Olives fabric collection on Spoonflower to World Central Kitchen, so if you feel like sewing a sustainable garment or buying sustainable home decor with peaceful and enchanting olive branches while also doing a good deed, now’s the perfect time! Spoonflower offers all kinds of fabrics and items from bedding to placemats and beyond. 🌱 Make sure to choose organic fabric to be extra kind to the Earth and healthy for you.
